Lauren loves spring! She went to her first Easter Egg hunt on Saturday. She loved Daddy holding her by her feet and reaching down and picking up eggs and putting them in her basket. She found the golden egg!!! Therefore our wagon was full of loot on the way home. Check out her newest "funny face"- "OH, NO!"

Uncle Dave and me at the Rodeo

This is a picture of my Unlce Dave and I on a John Deer tractor. He took me to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. It was so much fun! I got to see baby piglets, calves, rabbits, chicks and a llama. I watched a farmer milk a cow, and I even got to eat a corn dog- it was SOOOO GOOOOD! I can't wait until next spring to go again!

This is Lauren's newest friend Sandy. Her family visited us last Thursday. She is an amazing eleven year old with "Down from Heaven" Syndrome ( that is what she calls it). It was very encouraging to meet her and her mom and brother. She is very outgoing and it is evident she loves Jesus. He has gifted her with the ability to play both the violin and piano. She is reading above grade level, and speaks with amazing articulation. Her mom, Gina, gave me some great pointers and ideas for Lauren. Lauren just fell in love with her, and she was such an inspiration to Aaron and I. I can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for these two girls!!

Our First Family Vacation

What does 3 liters of pedialtye, over 50 diapers, 102 wipes, several sets of clothes thrown away in various places... CVS, The Magnolia Plantation, The Flying Pizzeria, dad's t-shirt thrown away, and poop in one's ear on numerous occasions equal..... A VERY MESSY VACATION! The Trott Trio just returned from Charleston, South Carolina where they visited Aaron's brother- Uncle Christian. To spite Lauren's bout with ROTA-VIRUS, we had a wonderful time. We enjoyed the beautiful city, parks and Folly beach. We ate lots of yummy food, and a few long naps! We toured the Magnolia Plantation and Gardens where Lauren got to see an alligator and some peacocks. It was great to getaway from the routine in Houston, and mom really enjoyed not cooking!!

Lauren got to sit in a cool taxi and watch Elmo! Miss Teresa trimmed her hair, Lauren sat super still and didn't even fuss! What a trooper!

Lauren's First Haircut

Do you think I need a haircut? The lady at "Cool Cuts" said I had wild woman hair!
